Refund policy

At L&L Locks, customer satisfaction is important to us. This policy explains the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds are accepted.


1. Return Eligibility

Returns may be accepted only if:

  • The product is unused.

  • The product remains in original packaging.

  • All accessories, manuals, and contents are intact.

  • Return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Installed Products

Once a product has been installed, it shall not be eligible for return or refund under any circumstances, except where a verified manufacturing defect is identified by L&L Locks or its authorized service representative.

If a manufacturing defect or hardware malfunction is confirmed after inspection, the product will be repaired or replaced, as determined by L&L Locks. Refunds will not be provided for installed products unless otherwise required under applicable law.


2. Non-Returnable Products

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Installed products

  • Used products

  • Customized products

  • Products damaged after delivery

  • Products without original packaging

  • Products purchased during clearance sales unless defective


3. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive:

  • A damaged product

  • Missing components

  • An incorrect product

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and order details.

Failure to report such issues within the specified period may affect eligibility for replacement or claim processing.


4. Replacement Eligibility

Replacement requests may be approved if:

  • Product arrives damaged

  • Manufacturing defects are identified

  • Wrong product was delivered

Replacement approval is subject to inspection and verification.

Manufacturing Defects

Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed after installation, L&L Locks reserves the right to repair or replace the defective product or component. The decision to repair or replace shall be at the sole discretion of L&L Locks.


5. Return Approval Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact Customer Support.

  2. Provide:

    • Order Number

    • Invoice

    • Product Photographs

    • Reason for Return

  3. Await approval before shipping the product.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Products returned without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the customer at their expense.


6. Product Inspection

Returned products will undergo inspection.

If the product:

  • Meets return criteria → Return approved.

  • Shows signs of installation, misuse, or damage → Return may be rejected.

The inspection findings of L&L Locks or its authorized service partner shall be final for determining return or replacement eligibility.


7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

Bank processing times may vary.

Refund processing timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on the customer's bank or payment service provider.


8. Shipping Charges

  • Original shipping charges may be non-refundable.

  • Return shipping costs may be deducted where applicable.

  • If the error is caused by L&L Locks, return shipping will be covered by us.


9. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests cannot be guaranteed and may be treated under the Return Policy.


10. Installation Support

To assist customers during installation:

  • One on-site installation visit arranged through our referred technician is complimentary, where applicable.

  • If additional on-site visits are requested due to customer scheduling changes, reinstallation, incorrect preparation, or reasons not attributable to a manufacturing defect, additional visit charges may apply.

  • Where possible, L&L Locks will provide installation guidance through video calls, video tutorials, or remote technical assistance to help customers or their installers complete the installation.

  • Remote guidance is provided as a convenience and does not replace professional installation where required.


11. Limitation of Liability

L&L Locks reserves the right to inspect, repair, or replace products before approving any return or refund request.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, L&L Locks shall not be liable for damages arising from:

  • Improper installation

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Customer negligence

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse of the product

  • Installation performed by unauthorized persons

  • Failure to follow the product manual or installation instructions

Nothing in this policy limits any rights available to consumers under applicable laws of India.


12. Governing Law

This Return, Replacement & Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
